Today I am going to give you the lowdown on what to expect with this airline, and how cheap flights truly are from Charleston WV. Quick History

Breeze Airways is a budget airline with headquarters in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The founder is David Neeleman. David previously co-founded JetBlue, WestJet, Morris Air, and Azul Linhas Aereas, so he has experience in this industry. The company is fairly new, starting in May 2021, and has added flights to several cities around the country.

This airline was founded with the goal of making travel more convenient, affordable, and enjoyable for everyone. With a focus on delivering an exceptional travel experience, Breeze Airways has quickly become a popular choice for people looking to take a trip.

Myrtle Beach flight

I just attempted to test it out, and it works. First flight is offered May 10th-13th, 2024. Breeze Airways says that flight prices will start at $49 one way (Nice version) for everyone who purchases by November 14th, 2023, for flights all next summer. These are nonstop flights. So, a round trip flight without luggage will cost $98 plus $30 for picking your seat ($15 each way). The total of $128 can also be split up into monthly payment with Uplift (check out their website for more info)

Use the code "BENICE" during the booking from Charleston to Myrtle Beach to save money. (This info was found on WOAY) This dropped my total to $123.02. This is the best code for booking right now.

Nice, Nicer, and Nicest, gives you the option of paying extra up front to get you the best seat and luggage deals, and you also earn more Breezepoints when doing this. It will raise the cost for the round-trip flight to Myrtle Beach though.

Viator

-Carry-on bag 22"x14"x9" is $30 extra

-Checked bag, 1st bag is $30, second is $55, third $65 extra. Just pack light, I very rarely pack more than a personal items for a few days trip.

-Seats cost anywhere from $15, to $90 depending on where you want to sit, and yes you have to buy a seat. For me personally, on a short flight like this, take the cheapest seat available, it's the best.

-A $75 pet fee (each way) if you want to bring your cat or dog. It must be 25 pounds or less and you keep them under the seat. There are hotels in Myrtle Beach that are dog friendly!

Another Fact

An interesting fact, Breeze Airways has flights from Charleston SC, Orlando FL, and Tampa FL that connect to several other cities around the country. I double checked prices for Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Provo to see if it would be cheaper to fly from Charleston West Virginia to Charleston SC or Orlando FL to connect to these flights. This is not the best option. Most flights are more expensive, than flying direct on American with a layover somewhere else.

at the airport

One example, Charleston WV to San Francisco CA May 31st to June 6th was $495.00 on American with a layover in Charlotte NC. I tried it with layover in Charleston SC on Breeze it was $695, plus the initial $98 to get the Charleston SC, and the layover didn't match up easily. So, if you are looking for a deal that way, you will not come up with it. Breeze Airways is best for direct flights.

In Conclusion

With Breeze Airways, you can book your flight directly on their website, making the booking process fast and easy. With their affordable pricing, you can be sure that you'll be saving money on your next travel adventure. For the price, I do not think you can beat it, and consider Breeze Airways the best option for flying to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from Charleston, West Virginia. I would use them to fly in a heartbeat. If you live in West Virginia and would fly out of Yeager Airport, Breeze is the best way to go. So go on and plan your next summer vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with a flight instead of driving down. (Rent a car with Turo while on vacation)
