I have spent plenty of time in this area due to work a few years back and fell in love with it. Located super close to Asheville North Carolina, but also very close to Greenville and Spartanburg South Carolina. Just drive-up interstate 26 and Saluda Mountain. I have had my issues with driving Saluda Mountain in the fog at 4AM due to my job, but on a nice sunshining day, it is absolutely beautiful. Every drive you take to or from Hendersonville is a scenic drive with mountain views.
