There are lots of women out there that are like me and live out of backpacks. I tend to only pack a backpack when traveling to Las Vegas. Even if I am out there for 6 days, a backpack is all I need. But backpacks are perfect for long weekends anywhere in the world. Mountain Trips, Short Cruises, Beach trips, and domestic or International Flights. Whenever you have a long weekend, a backpack is perfect, and I am here to show you the best.
You have to be careful with backpacks, some are large and will not be considered a "carry on" size for an airplane. Today my best 5 list will only be for those that can be labeled as a carry on"" for an airline. I have witnessed too many fights (with Spirit Airlines) about the size of a "carry-on" bag. So, if the backpack is on this list, it will pass with even the strictest airlines.
(Sidenote) "Personal item" is different from "carry on" at an airport. Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant Airlines will get you on this, so be very careful. These are labeled "carry on" backpacks, but they could work as personal items for these 3 airlines, if you don't overpack or expand the backpack. Double check with airlines on size requirements on the "personal item". I have seen many fights with Spirit Airlines on personal items too. One time the woman at the gate refused a man from boarding because his personal item was too big, and he was fussing and refused to pay for an upgrade.
#1 Sinaliy Travel backpack. This one has a 4.8-star rating, and only $39.99 right now on Amazon. After looking at the reviews I believe it. Comfortable straps, a large pocket that can hold a 15.6-inch laptop and a 12" tablet at the same time. Plenty of room to hold what you want. This backpack has a USB charging port and a shoe pouch. Am I right girls, we always need a shoe pouch. It is also considered to be a convertible backpack, if unsure what that means, let me explain. Use it as a normal backpack, over the shoulder bag, or carry by the handle like a laptop bag or tote, the choice is yours. Color choices include Pink, and Black which I was hoping for more but still I love the pink. After the reviews I have done, this would be the one I would buy, and of course I would buy the pink one. Click the link or the picture, to check it out.
#2 Crureay Backpack and Tote. This is a sexy backpack and cheap too. The cost is only $29.99 right now, and I like it a lot. It is water resistant, and a convertible. 6 different colors to choose from, Pink, Light Pink, Purple, Blue, Grey, and Coffee. It also can hold a 15.6 laptop, and has 2 front pockets, 2 side pockets and a hidden pocket for anti-theft. Rated at 4.4 stars I still consider this a win. Click the link or the picture to check it out. Isn't it just so cute. I love the looks on this one.
#3 Coowoz Large Travel Backpack. I really like this one, and honestly if #2 wasn't cute, this would be my number 2. This one is spacious, waterproof and only $36.99. It also has a USB charging port and shoe pouch, (yep girls again with the shoe pouch). I actually see it being just as much of a hiking backpack as an airplane backpack. It's rated at 4.6 stars, and I can see why. It can hold a 16" laptop, has an anti-theft pocket and a wet storage pocket which will keep a wet item away from your dry items. Now you see why this would be a great hiking backpack. So, kill 2 birds with 1 stone and buy this one. If you are a hiker and frequent flyer this would be great for you. Also, it comes in 21 different colors. Click the link or picture to check it out.
#4 Lovevook Backpack. I am digging the looks of this one, and the functionality is great also. Holds a 17" Laptop along with a 12.5 tablet, USB charging port, and comes in several different colors including my favorite pink. It is recommended for women, and has several pouches including an anti-theft pouch, and shoe compartment (Love it). The design is nice on the front too. It is the only other 5 star rated backpack on my post. And the only reason it is down to number 4 on my list is the price. It's the most expensive on my list at $46.00, but you can pick the 15.6" backpack and it is $29.00. Click on the link or the picture to see more.
#5 Matein Carry On backpack. This is also a convertible and can expand for more space while still fitting into the "Carry On" Status. Comfortable, adjustable straps. Comes only in black for $39.99 and it's the 15.6" and $49.99 for the 17" backpack. This is one of the reasons why it has made it to the bottom of my list. I have no doubt it's still a great backpack, it is rated 4.7 stars, holds a 17" laptop and is water resistant. The last thing I want to say about this backpack, it says it's made for men or women. I get it, unisex items are fine, I have a few myself. But be careful with backpacks that are unisex, they have to be adjustable for a woman for them to be comfortable. Women tend to wear their backpacks higher on their back for more comfort. Click on the link or picture for more information.
Hope you enjoyed the blog, and it helped you decide on a backpack that's great for you. Maybe I will see you at the airport sometime with one of the backpacks I've listed. I know if you buy one of these you will not be fighting with the airline workers at the gate about the size of your backpack. lol
